The first Noah narrative is in Genesis: 7-15, and is an account of the origin of the world. It tells how God created man (Adam and Eve) before a great disaster. The story includes a prophecy concerning the Flood, which was to be undertaken on account of mankind’s disobedience, and which came about when man failed to obey God.This was one of the most important stories in the Bible; it inspired countless artists and poets for generations to come. And although there are many versions of it today - some very distorted - Noah's Ark remains a vivid image for humans around the world. And that is why we have chosen this story as our first book project for 2018!
