The Red Necklace is a heartwarming story about friendship, loyalty and the dangers of growing old. The story centers on the main character, Lucas, who is old enough to remember the Civil War. The book is told from Lucas' perspective and it shows the emotional differences between young and old as Lucas has to deal with a lot of changes in his life.Lucas has always been good at reading people. He can tell what someone is thinking and what they really want to do.

I needed to write a literature review about The Red Necklace and Leonardo Da Vinci books. I read The Red Necklace with pleasure and got an A+ for my book review. Sally Gardner is a wonderful writer.
