Monsoon Love And Other Nepali Stories by Andrew James Pritchard

Andrew James Pritchard

This book is a collection of short stories written by an English writer and published in 2013. Each story has a contemporary Indian setting, and the main characters are three women - Dhriti, Abhita and Malini. They are drawn from real life experience. The stories are about love, loss, struggle and success . The women in the book represent different aspects of life in India. They are also not typical protagonists as they had lived their lives through different circumstances. The women come across as interesting characters with rich inner lives that make them realistic human beings with hopes, dreams and desires just like any other woman out there. Most importantly all these three women have a genuine interest to write their own story namely "The Monsoon Love".

The story of Monsoon Love is a story about one man's search for love in a country where women are not valued for who they are. And it's also a story about the resilience of the Nepali people, their strength in the face of adversity, and the beauty of their landscape.Monsoon Love is a love story
