This is the first in a series of books about the life of the American playwright and author, June Keating Sherwin. She was born in New Haven, Connecticut, on February 26, 1887, and died on September 19, 1983. She was married to the composer John Goss and collaborated with him in his work on many of his operas. She worked as an actress for many years and was an accomplished amateur dancer. She was also a friend to the writer Frank Norris.
