William Shakespeare's "Timon of Athens" is about a wealthy, retired businessman who wanders the streets of Athens begging for scraps. Timon is a tragic figure who is so disillusioned with the world that he becomes a hermit. After giving away all his money, Timon is happy to live on what nature provides him and does not care about anything else. He is also very distrustful of people and believes that they are all liars.I liked this play because
