True Places by Sonja Yoerg

Sonja Yoerg

This book is an interesting take on the place and role of places in contemporary culture."Reality is a function of what we see, touch, taste, hear and smell. In contrast to this notion of reality, the concept of place has taken on an increasing importance within our society. Places have become central to how we think about ourselves and how we react to the world."The author explores the idea that these places are changing as a result of social media and how it shapes our reality.

I simply love this book! It's the only one I've read in a while and it is just so beautiful!Sonja Yoerg is a gifted writer - she has a heart for people and their stories. I loved some of her short stories in the anthology, but her novel really makes me fall in love with her.The story is set in Seattle, the city that inspired her to write it. The setting is beautiful, and the characters are so well-drawn and well
