This was a great read for me. I am a huge fan of Harriet Beecher Stowe's other novel, "Uncle Tom's Cabin," and to this day I still remember it. I was shocked when I found out that there was a sequel to it, and was not disappointed at all.This is a story of the American West in the 1800s. I was surprised that all the characters were black. It is a rare story that has all black characters, and I loved the idea.This was a great book, I loved it. This book reminded me of the movie, but I really enjoyed the book.
I needed to write a literature review about Uncle Toms Cabin and The Monkey Wrench Gang books. I read Uncle Toms Cabin with pleasure and got an A+ for my book review. Harriet Beecher Stowe is a wonderful writer.
