This was a great read for me. I am a huge fan of Harriet Beecher Stowe's other novel, "Uncle Tom's Cabin," and to this day I still remember it. I was surprised that all the characters were black. It is a rare story that has all black characters, and I loved the idea.This was a great book, I loved it. This book reminded me of the movie, but I really enjoyed the book.
