I ROMANCED THE STONE is a novella about a man who falls in love with an ancient artifact. I was inspired by the notion of a male fairy-tale in which the hero must do what is right, and by the need to explain away the gorgeous (but inexplicable) statue of a Goddess that appears in a historical painting.
I ROMANCED THE STONE, written by Marvin D. Wilson is the first book that I have ever read that not only made me think, but also made me laugh out loud. It's funny because you can't help but think about it when you read it. I remember when I was a kid and I would sit in the backseat of my dad's car and his wife would take the wheel and they would drive by the cemetery. She would point out the graves of my grandparents
I needed to write a literature review about I Romanced The Stone and Drood books. I read I Romanced The Stone with pleasure and got an A+ for my book review. Marvin D. Wilson is a wonderful writer.
