Philip K. Dick

THE MINORITY REPORT is a novel by Philip K. Dick, published in the United Kingdom by Sphere Books in 1977 and in the United States by Del Rey Books in 1978. It is an epistolary novel which consists of a series of letters written by minor characters concerning an implicit conspiracy theory. In this book, Dick examines how mass media and advertising are used to control individuals, and to maintain a sense of false individuality for society at large. The narrator's main mission is to convince people that they have free will when they do not, exposing the manipulation behind such concepts as "consumer choice" through his use of metaphor and hyperbole.

It's not in the next book, but I just want to tell you about it for now." "The Minority Report is not a story
