"I have just finished reading the book "The Sign of Four." It was beautifully written. Miss O'Brien's descriptions of the setting brought us back to that cold, dark, London night. I have read several books based on the Holmes stories and each one was different from the others in the sense that each was a different spin on the same basic story. This was not the case with "The Sign of Four." The characters were all well developed and we actually got to know them and
