After hearing several different explanations for where this trophy came from, I decided to try some research.I found a couple of patent documents describing a 'horn spoon' as a baby spoon in the 1950's. There is nothing to suggest it was invented until 1962 or so. The only people I could find who had invented this were those who had invented the 'dumb blower' in the late 19th century, who got a patent in 1921 for that.From what I read,
