The book, “FIVE FEET APART” by Rachael Lippincott, is a multicultural story about the journey of three generations of women who are living on the same block in Brooklyn.The main characters of the book are Eva, who is born and brought up in Brooklyn and her mother, Eugeia. Then there is her daughter, Ava and finally her granddaughter, Josie. The book has its own set of twists and turns which are thoroughly explored as we get to know each character better.The story takes place in New York City from 1945 to present day with an emphasis on the immigrant experiences that have happened in this time period.
