Heku is a great book. As a historian it is a most unusual book. While studying to be a historian I have seen many books on the subject, but Heku is unique in that it includes both analytical and interpretive historical analysis of the art of medicine, and discusses how it influenced the development of the Chinese medical culture. The author is an excellent writer, and I can't express how much of an influence the book had on my own writing. It was good to see the author's
"Hispanics in Canada," by Lorena Muniz, from the Canadian Encyclopedia.
I needed to write a literature review about Heku and Hunter books. I read Heku with pleasure and got an A+ for my book review. T.M. Nielsen is a wonderful writer.
